Purpose
"Not Anti-government, Just Anti-deception"

Waving flags and being proud Americans is great, but we have a duty to be vigilant as well. Our founding fathers warned us not to trust our public servants too implicitly, or we'd be made the dupes of designing men. But how many of us have time or inclination to watch what the government is doing (or has done over the last hundred years)?

As a country WE ARE NOT PAYING ATTENTION! We need to wake up, stop being complacent, and start taking an interest in how things are being run, as compared to how they should be run. With each passing year, more and more of our liberties are being stripped away from us, primarily because we don't know or don't care what's going on with our government. We put up with it because "other places have it worse", or "that's the way it's always been". What a pathetic excuse to squander away the precious freedom our country was built on. Why should we give up the best thing about this country, simply because others don't have it?

This site is dedicated to helping people gain an understanding of some of the great deceptions being pulled on the American people. I'm not saying these deceptions are conspiracies, or results of secret agendas by the agencies in question. While most of the deceptions have roots in small corrupt political groups of decades ago, I fully admit that it's quite likely that most employees working in these agencies are just following procedures that have been in place for generations, and have no clue as to the great deception they are propagating on the American people. Like the title says, not anti-government, just anti-deception.

I started this site primarily to support people who were claiming their [rightful] independence from the IRS. However, in learning the ropes, I found it necessary and beneficial to branch out into other areas. You can't very well defend yourself against an organization like the IRS without learning about our legal system, property rights, and the Constitution. Naturally, an understanding of those subjects quickly leads you into other areas such as property taxes and traffic court, so you'll find some info on those here as well.

So if you think everything going on today is dandy, and you don't really need any information from this site, let me pose a few questions for you to think about. Consider each of these carefully:

  1. Do you think the government grants you your rights? Can they be voted away?

  2. Does the federal government have the authority to control everything that happens in this country? Do they outrank the States in all things legal?

  3. Why does every political leader and news correspondent say we live in a Democracy? The Constitution says we have a Republic. The founding fathers considered Democracy to be a form of tyranny. Why do they work so hard to make us think we have a Democracy? What's the difference?

  4. If the federal income tax is an indirect tax, that means it's tied to an activity which makes you liable. What activity did you do to become liable to it? Is it possible you aren't really subject to the income tax?

  5. Do you think your federal tax money runs the government? If so, what did it run on for the 140 years prior to 1913 when the Income tax was enacted?

  6. How does legislation for federal territories differ from that for the union States? How do you know which laws are for which? Is it possible we are following laws that were only intended for the territories, such as Guam, Puerto Rico, etc?

  7. What kind of law is being conducted in lower courts? They call it statutory law. Is that sanctioned by the Constitution? Are you automatically under its jurisdiction? If not, how do they get you to consent?

  8. Have you signed any contracts in which you gave up rights and property, without even realizing it? Is that legally binding on you, since you didn't know?

  9. If you were wrongfully arrested tomorrow, do you know how to pick a qualified lawyer? Would he put your interests first?

  10. Why would you need a marriage license? What does it give you permission to do that you couldn't do without the license? Is marriage a privilege that's granted by the state? How about a building permit to build on land you own?

If you felt like an informed citizen before starting this page, do you still? Do you feel like you have a solid understanding of what's going on in the government today and that your rights are being protected? Would you know whether you were being taken advantage of?

Many of the answers to these questions are found in documents and videos on this site. I invite you to look around and help yourself to anything that interests you. There are dozens of training videos, classes, seminars, and legal documents in the Download section. Everything here is free for download, but there are some things you can buy on video cassette or CD to save the bother of downloading -- especially useful for those who still use dial-up.

The calendar, news, and links pages are open for public postings, so if you have a court appearance or special seminar coming up, feel free to post it on the calendar or in the news area. Also, I encourage you to join the discussion email list. It's very active, and there's a great group of people with lots of experience there that participate in discussions.
